About
The UT Chess Club is organized to promote the game of chess in the UT community. We do so by meeting weekly to play chess, inviting guest speakers and instructors, organizing tournaments, and sending teams to competitions.
Our club is open to players of all levels of chess experience.
Weekly Meetings
We have weekly meetings for all members. The agenda for each meeting usually involves playing chess (chess sets provided), and honing each other's abilities. Tournaments are often held during these meetings, and any updates on events will be given during this time. It is recommended for all members to attend as many meetings as possible.
- When: Monday at 5-6:30pm.
- Where: PHR 2.108.
Membership
Membership is $10 for the Spring 07 semester.
